VITALITY COLOUR – FAQ

Colours, like facial features, follow our changing emotions.

Colours are the words of a language we know and we “speak every day” through the body, looks, places, objects.

Visual art, Music, Fashion, Poetry produce colours and sensations which remain in our daily experience to “nourish us” with emotions.

Colour is freedom, joy, amazement, lightness, simplicity: the way to change in a constantly changing world, all the while remaining oneself.

Vitality’s proposes colours, information, readings, sensations and suggestions for those masters performing in the world of colour, never losing sight of simplicity, authenticity, and beauty.

A. Perform a patch test at least 24 hours prior to application

With a cotton swab, apply to the test area (Inside the elbow) the mixture of colour and developer in

an area of about 1 cm x 1 cm, cover with a bandaid. Leave undisturbed for 24 hours before the

colour treatment. After 24 hours, if there is burning, itching or any other irritation in or around the

test area, do not use the product.

If lightening up to 2 shades, or keeping the same shade, or darker than your shade:

If lightening up to 3 shades:

A. Choose your colour from the colour selection. Once you have determined your choice of colour,

determine your natural/base colour (which is 1-10 in the naturals)

e.g. if you have chosen 7/44 as your preferred colour and your natural colour is 5 – you are looking

to lighten your hair by 2 levels.

If you have any grey hair:

– use 75ml of 20 vol (6%) developer/peroxide mixed with ¼ tube of base shade 7 and ¼ tube of 7/44

If you don’t have any grey hair:

– use 75ml 20 vol(6%) developer/peroxide mixed with 7/44

A. When using an ultra lightening colour for high lift lightening, it is recommended that you mix with

a 40 Vol (12%) developer/peroxide and use a ratio of 1 part colour to 3 parts developer.

Example: 150ml of 40VOL (12%) Developer/Peroxide to 50ml of Colour
